1.3.8

fixedImproved how chatlogs save, to ensure that they save not only on game closure but also server disconnect, to ensure that logs are not lost in transition.

changedChanged chatlog naming convention slightly to ensure that sessions cannot be overwritten, resulting in loss.

newAdded a link to the changelog whenever a new update rolls out, so you know exactly what you're getting before you get it.

1.3.7 28 Sep 2026

fixedBug fixes related to certain messages not being picked up as correct categories, resulting in wrong notifications.

1.3.6 6 Sep 2026

fixedBug fixes related to the notifier and incorrect tagging.

fixedIssues with correct log recognition when it came to ballistics blocks.

fixedRearranged entries in the forensics sub-tabs in the descending order, newest to oldest.

1.3.5 5 Sep 2026

fixedOld sessions open with their timestamps again. Archives are saved as a styled page by default, and a page keeps the timestamp in a column of its own rather than on the front of the line. Igloo only recognised the old time-only shape when reading that column back, so every archive written since dates were added came back looking like it had no clocks at all — the times and dates were in the file the whole time, they just were not being picked up. Fixed for pages, JSON and CSV alike. Archives written before dates were added still open exactly as they did.

newOpening an old session no longer interrupts the live one. Loading an archive while a session was recording used to hand the screen back to the live session a second or two later, which made an old log almost impossible to actually read. Now the two are kept apart. The recording never stops, never pauses and never restarts: it carries on behind whatever you have open, mentions still reach you, and the archive stays on screen until you are done with it. A bar across the top says so and counts what has arrived while you have been reading. Back to live session closes the file and puts tonight back on screen, caught up to the moment — as does Pull session or F5. Pins you place on an archive stay with the archive, and the ones on your live session are waiting when you come back.

1.3.4 4 Sep 2026

fixedSome live chat colors were not rendering properly, which should be fixed.

1.3.3 4 Sep 2026

fixed"says/shouts/whispers (to …)" lines now tag as LOC, instead of SRV.

1.3.2 2 Sep 2026

newMessages from the developer - what a user sees: a bar at the top, dismissable, shown once, and the reassurance that it rides on the check Igloo already makes rather than opening anything new while they play. Plus that a dismissed message is still in About, since that's the obvious worry.

newThe link to the release notes - both places it appears.

newThis changelog - stated plainly as written now and filled in backwards, with the 1.0.0–1.1.4 gap acknowledged as left out rather than guessed at.

1.3.1 2 Sep 2026

fixedthe screenshot key did nothing when Igloo started with Windows. Launched straight to the tray on sign-in, the shot key was never claimed, so pressing it did nothing at all. It only began working once you had opened the window and put it back. It now works from the moment Igloo starts.

1.3.0

fixedserver messages were being listed as people who were talking. Lines the server addresses to you, telling you your radio frequency changed or was reset, were read as emotes, and the first two words became a name in "Who is talking". Those lines are now filed as server notices.

changed"Who is talking" lists only people who actually spoke. Names are taken from local speech, radio and phone traffic. An emote describes a person rather than quotes one, and an OOC line is the player rather than the character, so neither adds a name to that list. The volume marker on quiet or loud speech can no longer end up inside somebody's name, which it could in radio traffic before.

Anything that worked on a name still recognises all of a person's lines. The notifier's except from these people list, and Copy speaker, still find them in emotes, OOC and messages.

newright-click a name in "Who is talking". Highlight gives that person a yellow tint so they stand out while scrolling. Isolate shows only their lines. Either can be used on its own or together, on as many names as you like, so you can isolate four people and highlight one of them. There is a clear all for each.

1.2.9

fixedemotes the game writes for you were filed as server notices. The ones that appear when you interact with something, rather than the ones you type. They now sort as emotes and name the character performing them.

1.2.8

newa Dates button in the toolbar. Shows or hides the date next to the time on screen. Off by default, since within one evening every line you can see carries the same date. Every line is saved with its date either way.

changedthe timestamp is a little narrower, with a bar between the date and the time rather than a dash.

1.2.7

changedevery line is saved with its date, not just the time. A session that runs past midnight is in obvious order on the page instead of appearing to jump backwards. The date is on every line rather than only the first of a day, so the four lines you quote into a report still say when they happened.

Your existing archives still open. Everything saved before this reads exactly as it always did, and a session recorded across the upgrade holds both shapes at once.

1.2.6

new12 or 24 hour clock, in Settings. Changes what you see and nothing else. Lines are always written on a 24 hour clock, so a transcript you hand somebody reads the same for them as it does for you.

newdates in the session summary when a session crosses midnight, so the window reads as two days rather than as a mistake.

1.2.5

fixeda session that ran past midnight reported 23h59m however long it really was. The duration was worked out from the earliest and latest time of day in the session. On an evening running 22:00 to 01:00, those are just after midnight and just before it. An evening like that now reads as the three hours it was.

fixedthe activity graph, the same way. Everything after midnight was piled into the first bar, so the graph showed a spike at the start of the evening made entirely of the end of it.

fixedthe session summary read backwards, showing the earliest time as the start and the latest as the end.

1.2.4

removedthe diagnostics log Igloo left beside the program. Almost everything that landed in it was ordinary, such as the game's interface reloading or the connection not being up yet while FiveM starts, so it built up a page of alarming looking text about nothing being wrong.

1.2.3

fixedmasked players were filed as server notices. When somebody is masked the game gives them an id instead of a name, and Igloo only recognised written names. Every line from behind a mask fell out of the chat entirely, so a whole robbery could end up filed as server traffic. Their speech, emotes and radio now sort properly, and their id is listed as the speaker.

fixedthe same bug affected anybody with a rank or title in front of their name. Speech is now recognised by the verb rather than by the shape of the name, so a rank, a title or a mask id in front of it makes no difference.

fixedthe volume marker on quiet speech could be read as the speaker's name.

newsort "Who is talking" by most lines, A to Z, or Z to A.

1.2.1

newa screenshot that fails sounds different from one that works. This matters if you have notices set to chime without a card: the sound is the whole message, and one sound for both meant hearing "saved" on every press while nothing was being written.

changeda screenshot in exclusive fullscreen now says so straight away instead of attempting a capture that cannot work. Switch the game to borderless windowed and screenshots work normally.

1.2.0

newchoose how notices reach you: chime, card, both, or neither. Set separately for mentions and for screenshots. The card is the half with a cost. It is a window, and a game running in exclusive fullscreen has to give up the display before anything else can be drawn on it, which minimises the game. A chime does not, which is why the two are worth choosing between.

fixeda screenshot in exclusive fullscreen saved a black picture and reported success.

fixedHTML archives lost their true colours after Igloo was restarted. The transcript survived a restart and the colours did not, so an archive written after reopening Igloo came out in the tag colours with nothing to say why. Colours now last as long as the session they belong to.

changedautomatic archives always keep their timestamps. The setting that could strip them is gone. Dropping timestamps is an export choice now, made on a copy, so the archive itself is always something you can line up against somebody else's account of the same evening.

newthe session header says when Igloo attached to a chat box that was already full. Everything on screen at that moment carries the time it was captured rather than the time it was said, because there is nowhere else to get a time from. The header says how many lines that was instead of letting the file imply it knew.

1.1.9

newopen Igloo's own exports back up. HTML, Markdown, forum posts, JSON, CSV and plain text all read back in, and a styled page comes back with the colours it was saved with. Archives are no longer a one-way door.

newan "Open outside" button in the archive browser, for reading an archive as a web page instead.

fixedsearching the archive read the page markup rather than the chat. With styled pages as the default archive shape, the search counted matches inside invisible formatting and the preview showed a wall of tags.

newa Colour button in the toolbar. Off, the whole transcript reads in one plain grey, with neither the game's colours nor the tag colours.

1.1.5 – 1.1.8

newtrue chat colours. Igloo reads the colour of every piece of text as the chat arrives and shows it exactly as the game drew it, including in HTML exports, forum posts and styled archives.

newset your own colour for every tag.

newsearch the archive. One word across every session you have kept, with a date range, a match-case option, and find-a-match inside the session you picked.

newthe notifier, working properly. It reads the captured session, so it speaks up whether you are tabbed into the game or out of it. It carries the whole line for context, counts unread mentions, takes a list of people to ignore, and can watch private messages as a category rather than as a keyword.

newbetter sorting of lines. Department OOC as its own shade, object emotes, landline calls filed with 911, and server traffic recognised as such instead of "Other".

changedthe live view is around 18 times faster on a long session, so an all-night transcript stays as responsive as a fresh one.

newupdate checking and licensed downloads. A download link is issued for your licence, works once, and expires after thirty minutes. An expired key is told so and given no link. Builds too old to be safe refuse to start.

1.0.0 – 1.1.4

Time spent playing around, testing stuff and figuring things out.
